Keith Cox sold his first Volkswagen out of a little house on James Street in January of 2001. He later moved to Iowa Street and Auto Row and added a full-service department specializing in BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, and MINI Cooper. In 2008 he moved to our current location at 1814 Ellis Street, next to the Bellingham Food Bank.
In January of 2023 Keith sold the business to Carson and Cheyanne Wileman. Carson has been with the business since 2015 where he has been the lead technician and has managed the tech team since that time. Carson and Cheyanne welcomed twin daughters, Emery and Eloise into their lives in February of 2022.
Our new name is MINT AUTOMOTIVE, as in “mint condition.” The tradition of taking exceptional care of our client- friends, will continue under Carson’s capable leadership and the entire MINT Team. Personal service, unmatched warranty, and excellent communication skills will continue to be our hallmarks going forward.
